Over this past weekend, the FCAAP: The Future of Pediatric Practice 2025 was celebrated at the most magical place on earth. Our amazing team composed of Dr. Saugata Goswami, Dr. Jonathan Martinez, Dr. Xiayin Tian and Dr. Camila Sankovich participated in the Sim Wars and the Brain Bowl reaching the finals in both and earning the second place. This amazing team worked hard for months and we can see the fruits of their labor.

The FCAAP: The Future of Pediatric Practice is an annual conference by the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics that encompasses presentations about different topics very important for the pediatric practices of our state. This year several of our residents presented different case reports and quality improvement projects at the conference, including Dr. Yael Sterental, Dr. Pytregay Thompson, Dr. Xiaoyin Tian and Dr. Lien Morcate.

Our program came back home with the Resident Partnership Award from Reach out and Read. This could only have been possible thanks to our amazing champion Dr. Lourdes Forster and all of our residents for their commitment to our patient population in every well-child visit!
