Our pediatric residents receive their clinical training primarily at Holtz Children's Hospital, the stand-alone children's hospital affiliated with Jackson Memorial Hospital. Jackson is the largest public hospital in the United States and shares a campus with the University of Miami, Veterans Association, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Ryder Trauma Center in addition to many affiliated clinics and research centers. In the video, one of our Medicine/Pediatrics residents reflects on the benefits of training in such a diverse community and why he is proud to work at UM/Jackson.
